Legions of Decency came to Atleas and wanted not only a minimalistic design, but also one that placed heavy emphasis on style, animation, and most importantly - photography. Ultimately, they decided on Adobe Flash as they felt the unique UI's created through the platform would best suit the look and feel that they were after. That, and they really wanted to have some music playing!

Flash is known for it's ability to allow developers to create unique user interfaces. Keeping this and Legions of Decency's desire to emphasize photography in mind, Atleas' developers went to work creating a highly-stylized animated UI that works with masks and animation libraries to create the diagonal browsing interface. Legions of Decency wanted a dark and gritty feel to their site - one that would tie together the old and new, much like the lingerie itself. Therefore, Atleas' digital artists created a series of masks that placed emphasis on grainy, muted tones throughout - an effect that really brings life to the product by drawing the eye to it.
