Platinum Studios had worked with Atleas on a prior microsite, so when the time came to redesign their primary site, Atleas was an easy choice. While our design primarily focused on making their site more modern and clean, a huge component was focused on overhauling their information architecture. Atleas reorganized their content library, allowing the site to have a scaled-back navigation.

The best and most efficient web projects are ones where the designers work closely with the developers. In addition to designing the look and feel of the Platinum Studios site, Atleas also served as the development resource. Atleas was able to design features of the site with a focus on the technologies and functionality needed to actually implement them. This allowed for a seamless transition from the Design Phase to the Development Phase, with no surprises or question marks.

Platinum Studios develops an immense amount of content. From press releases to news updates, they are constantly publishing. Because of the great deal of content and the high rate of frequency that is deployed, Platinum Studios needed a way to control it in-house. Atleas developed a solution that worked for them. We utilized an open-source content management system, with functionality custom built for their specific needs.

Because of Platinum's Studios strong relationship with the public and their fans, Social Media integration was an absolute must. Atleas integrated their Twitter and Facebook profiles throughout the site. Because Platinum Studios placed such a strong emphasis on these accounts, our design was focused on making sure they were in highly visible areas.

As an established leader in the comic book and digital publishing industry, Platinum Studios has had a well-versed history. As publishing powerhouse and a publicly traded company, it is very important to establish a strong brand identity and vision. As a result of Atleas' design direction, Platinum Studios has effectively rebranded themselves.
